How can i send free sms through the internet or do any body know web site for that?

i am in US right now..and if i want to send SMS in india what i suppose to do?i used yahoo messenger and i sent many SMS from yahoo messenger but now i guess Yahoo people close that free service bcoz none of my friends they do not receive any messages...so is there any site or software to do that???

I suggest you go to the website of your friends mobile service provider and look if they offer a free sms.. atleast that's what i can do in Latvia.. Another possibility is to look at different india web sites and try to find the free sms service...

You can go to cricket.com and look around on there to send sms to a cricket. You can also check out sprint.com and look there to send to a sprint phone.. I'm sure the rest of the carrier's websites have things like that too.. just look around.. try www.(put carrier's name in).com Hope it helpes!
