    If you are talking about the Yahoo Messenger---- open the control panel (it's on your start menu) click on add or remove programs when the list of programs comes up search out the Yahoo Messenger click on the remove button follow the uninstall wizard through his little cut throat A B C and ---- zip---zapp--zooie----no Yahoo Messenger !!!!! .........

To uninstall it completely....got to programmes, control panel, add/delete scroll down until you find yahoo messenger and click on delete. But why not leave it and not sign in....it wont bother you but if you should decide you want to use it again...it'll be there...well for a short length of time.. If you dont use it it will be deleted automatically.

dont open your id for few months... it will deactivate by itself.

Go to Start..........control panel..........add/remove programs. when the box comes up with all the programs scan down to the bottom and find ..Yahoo messenger and uninstall itl.
