How do I contact Yahoo Mail?

How do you delete a contact from yahoo mail so that you can no longer see them as an online contact?

• 1) I use yahoo mail and despite that I deleted this e-mail address from my contact list, they still show up as an online contact on "yahoo messenger chat' at the left of the screen. Why am I still seeing them if I deleted them from my contact list? 2) Is there a way to know if they have deleted me?

  Description This article describes how to delete a contact and then add the contact to the Ignore List. Resolution NOTE: Before you delete a contact, make a note of the Yahoo!7 ID if you also want to add them to your Ignore List. To delete a contact: Right-click the person's name and select Delete. Please make a note of the Yahoo!7 ID for this contact if you also want to add them to your Ignore List. To delete mulitple contacts at once: Hold the CTRL button your keyboard and click the names of the contactss that you would like to delete. Right-click on one of the names and select Delete. To access the Ignore List: Click the Messenger menu and select Preferences. Select the Ignore List category. Select one of the following options: lgnore only the people below. Ignore anyone who is not in my Yahoo!7 Contacts. Edit the Ignore List: To ignore someone, click Add. To unblock someone, select the Yahoo!7 ID and click Remove. Click Apply and OK to save the settings. Additional Notes: Ignoring people will not block incoming "add to contact list" requests. Deleted and ignored contacts won't be notified that they have been deleted or ignored. The contacts you ignore will not be able to send messages to you and you will always appear offline to them. You cannot delete yourself from another person's contact list. You can ignore up to 300 contacts.
