How to access yahoo server?

How can I access to yahoo messenger which is blocked from the server?

  • My company has blocked chating in Yahoo Messenger but I want use it as I am getting updated reports from my home country....

u can access yahoo messenger in new yahoo mail beta. if u convert ur mail to the new version u can chat there and receive offline messages too. but if u want the messenger itself u need to know the proxy of ur server. then in messenger go to connection preferences and choose "use proxy". enter the proxy there and u can log in.

No way pal. You need to get your IT guy to unblock from the server. Hey make pals with him and he might unblock just your PC without letting the boss know. Good luck with your new pal.

use the messenger for the web here at http://messenger.yahoo.com You can't use other features but it works though..
