How can i add contacts fro my yahoo account to yahoo messenger?

i could add 8 contacts to my messenger.but yahoo messenger wont allow me to add more i keep puttin add contact and then it wont add it..can anyone please help? also is there any way i can add from my contact list on my email to messenger without doing it individually?

Answer:
log out and close the program. add some other contacts again after restarting the computer. see if it helps.
