Why can't I view my friend's webcam?

Why ? can't i view my webcam with friends , and i cant see them?

my webcam dont work on my yahoo , i cant send webcam and it wont let me see my friends

Make sure you have the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger. Make sure you installed the software for the webcam In Yahoo! Messenger - click on "Messenger" menu on it - click on "Preferences" - select "Webcam" - click on 'Camera Source' Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Start My Webcam" option. Click the camera icon located on the IM window toolbar. Click the "Contact" menu located on the IM window and select the "Invite to View My Webcam" option.
