Problems with msn and mac and webcam..?

okay so, i have a mac atm , and i have a pc webcam obviously the webcam didnt work so i downloaded macam, and now it does.. but the thing is , it wont work on msn.. why ? and how can i fix it? maybe the problem is the msn im using? im using amsn, and i also tried ebuddyy online.. but still nothing.. i also downloaded mercury messenger on my other mac, and that didnt work either... thanks for helping..
