How do I unlock Windows Live Messenger?

Okay, so I did something dumb. I locked msn. I have no idea how to unlock it. People keep saying that this hard drive icon is supposed to be on the bottom right corner, but it's not there. This is Windows Live Messenger Plus 2011 too. /sigh ) Please pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase help!!

In the bottom right hand corner, it's not a harddrive icon (that's only if you have a later version of windows). There should be an icon of a magnifying glass, double click it.
