Why won't Yahoo Chat work for me anymore?

  • I have Yahoo Messenger version 8.1.0.402 Whenever I try to go into a chat room, I get a message that says "Signing into Chat took longer than expected. Please try again later." This happens even when I try to enter a chat room that is clearly not full. What is going on?
