I have MSN Messenger but cannot get invitations to contact as they do not receive them. What am I doing wrong?

When I send an invitation to contact to partake in my messenger, they never receive the invitation. Am I missing something.. I have Windows 7 Home premium laptop

I am having the same problem. I also have windows 7 and when im in messenger, i have recieved invitations but am unable to open them. When i press to view them nothing happens. There are also other taps that when i press do not open or work. I have tried re installing messenger but nothing has changed. Can someone please help as there does not seem to be a customer support for messenger and no help available.
