How do I add new contacts to my Address Book? For All Applications, All Operating Systems, and All Domains In your Address Book, click on "Add Contact." Fill out any fields that you want and click "Save Contact." If you fill out any field with a lock next to it, you will have to send a Permission Slip to your parent. When you fill out the Permission Slip, include a note to your parent that tells them who this friend is. While you wait for your parent to approve your new contact, you will not be able to send email to them. They appear in your Address Book with a lock next to them. When they are approved, the lock will disappear.
