How do I get someone off my ignore list?

How can i get rid of someone who is bothering me on yahoo messenger besides adding him to the ignore list?

  • someone sent me a add request on yahoo messenger and i clicked ok so contact was established. But pretty soon i discovered that he wasn't who i thought and so i would like to know how do i get rid of him. If i put his id in the ignore list i will still appear online to him and i don't want that. I want my id to dissapear from his list. I forgot to mention that my id was sent to him by accident by a cousin of mine. If anyone has any suggestions i would really appreciate them. Thanks!
