Why cant i view others webcams?

why cant i view others webcams? they invite me and i click accept and noting opens up

Hello Usually this happens when Yahoo! has busy servers. Waiting for a few seconds before accepting the 2nd and 3rd webcam (after you already accepted webcam 1) may help. Maybe you and/or the other people who are inviting you to view their webcam may be on a slower internet connection like a dial-up connection which is a bit slow for webcams and which leads to a slower connection. Try to have some patience (20-40 seconds) and wait for the webcam(s) to connect. Cheers! R

You both have to be in the same program for webcams ie, Both in regular Yahoo Messenger. Not one in Messenger and the other in Mail or MSN. Check your settings are correct to receive webcam broadcasts INTERNET CONNECTION Open messenger - on top toolbar. Left click ( > ) Messenger > Preferences > Connection - Select 'no proxies' or 'connect direct to the internet' depending on the version of messenger you have make sure your internet connection and country are correct in the lower two boxes > Apply > OK If I have a failed invite I normally expect to see an error message giving the reason.
