Why doesn't my MSN Messenger work?

I had the msn virus I uninstalled messenger and did a virusscan but now mozillafirefox and explorer dont work!

  • the new msn messenger virus, 'is this you in this picture' has completely messed up my computer. i uninstalled it, but now when i try to open mozilla firefox or internet explorer it doesnt work. any idea on how to fix it?

    Many programs running in windows require components of messenger in order to run. You need to re-install mesenger and simply disable it in the options to stop it running but allowing other programs the use of the required components
