Why cant I download Yahoo messenger 8.1?

I am trying to download yahoo messenger and keep getting cant download check firewall settings and retry..I h?

i have turned off all windows firewalls and tried the download from yahoo.com and cnet .com makes it all the way to the end to start download and then the messeage cant download messender please check firewall settings and retry... please help me this is how i talk with my family... thank you for your time

-restart computer -for windows vista and windows 7, log in as admin of the computer to download/install the program http://messenger.yahoo.com/

Try to do this .. Start , Control Panel , Internet Options , Connection Tab , Then Lan Settings , Then Remove The Marks From All them .. Then Try To Download yahoo Messenger again ..
