Yahoo mail not working in windows live?

Is yahoo messenger 8.1 compatible with Windows Vista?

  • 1. Yahoo messenger 8.1 is installed properly. I make sure to uninstall and reinstall them. 2. Account and password is okay coz i can access my mail. 3. OS is Windows Vista... (maybe something is in conflict here?) 4. Windows messenger live and google talk works. 5. Windows Firewall is off 6. If it is indeed technical...any one here can help how? I have been using ym for many years now and have no problem with it...Just recently when I purchase my laptop with a Windows Vista Os. 7. Any Windows Vista in their laptop here who has a NORMAL yahoo messenser working? 8. Saw some questions related to this. Where you able to resolve them? Please tell me how.     The answer is yes and no. Yahoo Messenger 8.1 will run on Vista, you can use the instant messenger part and also enter the chatrooms BUT you will not be able to get voice. Yahoo Voice is not compatable with Vista.
