My husband is in afghanistan and cant download yahoo messenger, can i download it on a usb and send it to him?

my husband is in afghanistan and says he cant download yahoo messenger even though he has internet, something about download restrictions. he is in the military so they wont let you download anything over there to my understanding. is there any way that i could download yahoo messenger on a usb drive and then mail it to him and then have him download it to his computer that way. i know that you can use yahoo messenger online but we are interested in doing pc to pc calling and skype is NOT working that well at all. we are always getting kicked off. if anybody could help, my husband and i would greatly apperciate it. our son is two and keeps asking to see his daddy so this would help him as well. thanks

I Dont think you can couier it in USB nor you download and send it to him via some kinda softwares. The only way is he can use "yahoo messenger for web"

even if u send a usb then also he will not be able to use that yahoo messenger...because of internet restrictions...try google talk ....or msn ..
