Why won't my Windows live messenger let me send webcam?

My webcam suddenly not working on Windows Live Messenger video calls ?

• it was ok and working properly but suddenly it's just not working it works outside WLM video calls, and if i want to take a webcam picture as a display picture it works! and i tried alot of things: 1- Tools > Audio and video setup. <<<< it's ok 2- repaired the webcam program from my computer > uninstall or change programs <<<<< nothing happened :S 3- repaired the Windows Live Essensials <<<<< the same :S 4- and of course i restarted the laptop alot of times i just dunno wt happened :S when i talk to a friend the icon that shows that i have a webcam "near the display picture" disappeared :S >>>> I allow people to see that i have a webcam and when i click on the icon near my display picture only "Start a Video Call" is available .. please HEEEEEEEELP !!! :S :S :S P.S: I'm using HP530s Laptoop, WLM 14 and Windows Vista!!! (o_O)

  It seems like all that's left is for you to check your drivers and by extension, your Windows Updates. Are they on Automatic? If not, I would engage that option, I trust Windows to know way more than I do about what I should install, update or not. Even when I used the "Install, but let me select", I didn't know what I was looking at anyway in most cases! That's all I got, Nour. Good luck!!
