WHY does my computer restarts everytime i log in to Yahoo Messenger?

Reinstalled Yahoo Messenger. When log in, says signed out because logged in under different computer/device.?

  • Reinstalled Yahoo Messenger to get latest version. Now everytime I log in, a screen pops up and notes "Yahoo Messenger signed you out because you signed in on a different computer or device. I click ok, but I still can use Messenger. Do I need to be concerned or what can I do to stop resolve this issue?

    If you have the New Yahoo Mail with chat and the desktop Yahoo Messenger, you cannot be signed in to both. When Yahoo detects that you’re already signed into Yahoo Mail with chat and you sign in to your Yahoo Messenger on your desktop, Yahoo will disconnect you. That’s why you get that message that you are signed in to another computer. You must disable chat in your Yahoo Mail if you want to use your desktop Yahoo Messenger, by doing the following: See the smiley face next to your user name at the top of the mail page? Click it – then click Sign out of chat. (If you never signed in, the face is gray and sleeping...meaning you're already signed out/disabled.) Since Yahoo! i thought i'm just paranoid for some reason clicking the yahoo messenger to check mail logged me out and say i'm logged in diff computer... i runned a full system scan which include AVGantivirus and spybotS&D and nothing was found run Adaware nothing was found. so i'm looking into possibility of re-formatting everything and try to install the YMVer.8 since i exp the glitch at Ver.9Beta.... Just make sure your virus free and spyware free then change your password and use the more stable version of YM which is YMver.8 ....

it does the same thing to me but it actually signs me out of messenger. it only does this when i click on the email icon and i cant figure out why. its really annoying. any ideas maybe a setting or something? I still havent figured out why.
