I am trying to find friends for my bf to chat with from his homeland Guatemala. How do I find people there?

My boyfriend is from guatemala.. he lives in the states now and wants to chat with people on yahoo messenger from his home country or other central/south american countries. I am not able to find a feature on messenger that allows us to search for friends.... does anyone else know how to do this?

There are links at the bottom of Yahoo Answers for the International community.....I would suggest asking this very same question in the en Espanol link....or you can try Hispanic and Latino chat rooms.....they are located in Cultures and Community click the "+"....look for Countries and Cultures...then look for the chat rooms mentioned above......

He could also try a website like www.chapinesonline.org where he can search for people from Guatemala, they often also list their e-mail adresses. He can find old friends or make new ones!
