Yahoo messenger for ipod touch and hotmail problems?

• I have installed yahoo messenger for my ipod touch and was trying to IM the hubby who has a hotmail account, it seem that when I save his detail the messenger won't save the address right so Intead of @hotmail.com I get @hotmail.co and even after I edit it and sync it, it still won't save right. But my hubby's friend got him self a yahoo email address and I can talk to him fine, has any one got any ideas as to how I can get it to save right or doesn't it like hotmai address? Thanks a lot.

  I don't understand or know why you're having that problem, but here's a way around it if you want it. In Messenger, click Contacts and scroll to Invite People To Join, just follow instructions in order to send your friends the invitations. By doing this, you can put him on your messenger list in two minutes if he's standing by on his end. Once you get a reply in the affirmative, they'll be added to your Messenger list one by one. In fact, you might want to click Contacts, scroll to Show Address Book in order to help you with this task. I understand that you're saying his address won't "take" when you type it in, I'm just hoping trying it in another window may help.
