On yahoo messenger, why won't it let me go into yahoo chat rooms?

Yahoo Chat on Yahoo Messenger?

why does it say "this request was refused" every time i try to go onto yahoo chat from yahoo messenger and it won't let me into any of the chat rooms? thanks in advance!

This usually means that the chat room you are trying to enter is full or busy, either of which can prevent you from entering. It can sometimes take several tries to get into a chat room. If you haven't updated your messenger to the latest version, that can also cause you to not get in.
