How can I view another person's webcam?

Why can't my gf see my webcam on yahoo messenger?

My webcam is set to "allow everyone to view," but she keeps telling me it's telling her it needs my permission before she can see it. She was able to see my webcam last month and she never changed any settings on yahoo and neither have i. i checked the things online about what could be the problem, and we're both 16 on yahoo, and i have no idea. our webcams are installed and hooked up. well she just tried to see if i could view hers and it told me "the persons webcam is not available." Does anyone know how i can solve this?

Sometimes it depends on where she is located. Is she using a laptop? For example, many business networks filter and prevent access to webcams, so if she is using a laptop, perhaps she has it work from home on her network or connection, but the one from work filters it.
