Can they find out your real identity/your old ID if you add them from a different Yahoo! ID?
-
Imagine you have made a new Yahoo! ID and want to add a friend which is in your older messenger list. Can they find out if it's YOU who has added them from a different ID? Is there any way?! Maybe by your IP address, Yahoo shared info...?
-
Answer:
The person you're talking to would have to get software allowing him to see your ip address, but Yahoo certainly would never share that info with another user. But why do it from Yahoo, when you could open a legitimate account over on MSN and use Windows Live (yes it works with Yahoo messenger) as your base. This way, there's no chance of your losing your accounts from Yahoo and it gives you a very different "look" to this other person. Good luck. ~m~
