How do I keep yahoo permanently logged in?

I am having a problem with Yahoo Messenger. I keep being told that I am logged on somewhere else. How do I fix

  • Today I finally thought everything was ok until just a few minutes ago and it said i had been logged off because i was logged on at another computer. i only have one computer and i don't know anyone who knows my email.

    I assume while you were log in to your desktop messenger, you log in also to your Yahoo Mail beta with chat. When chat is loaded on your Yahoo Mail Beta, the desktop Yahoo Messenger will be automatically signed out. And you will received the notification that you were signed out of because you log in to another computer or device. Sign out or disable Yahoo Mail Chat and Sign in again to your desktop messenger. How do I sign out of/disable chat? See the smiley face next to your user name at the top of the mail page? Click it – then click Sign out of chat. (If you never signed in, the face is gray and sleeping...meaning you're already signed out/disabled.) Since Yahoo!
