I have Yahoo Messenger. Can I add someone with a hotmail account?

Can I load MSN messenger when I have Yahoo Messenger installed??? Or can I add a person with a hotmail account?? I've tried that but the person doesn't answer even though she knows I'm trying to chat. Any suggestions??? Thanks, Jim

You can download every instant messenger program there is an have them all open at the same time. So yes, you can also download MSN Messenger. But you can't put a hotmail user on Yahoo Messenger. But a hotmail user can certainly download Yahoo! Messenger. Then you could add that person to your list. Anyone can.

Yes, you can add a hotmail user. You can verify this...click the Add ( + ) icon, and see the examples...you can also see bcglobal.net can be added to your Yahoo Messenger list.

like the other person said you can download whatever but you cant an hotmail email to your yahoo messenger
