Why does the server sign me out of my messenger?

I can't sign into yahoo messenger. Get message saying check proxy server settings. Please help!?

  • I just bought this PC in kuwait. Is there a proxy server name here in my region if so, what is it. I have a PC I bought stateside, I have no problem logging into yahoo messenger on that one.

    If you are trying to connect to internet using proxy, messenger needs details of your connection. Click on messenger on top and then click on connection settings. If proxy is not highlighted, put a tick mark and enter proxy details. In case you don't know proxy details, contact your network admin to find what it is.

Well I think you hv to re-adjust the internet setting in your computer or you r behind a firewall

may be the problem is wiz the internet connection itself i.e. it was disconnected at that moment.. try again later.. i hope it works
