How to use ur webcam on yahoo messenger?

Actually I can see my own image from my webcam in my pc. But whenever I try to invite someone on yahoo to view my webcam there comes an error saying "webcam does not support the required image size", when I click "OK" to that dialog box then another one comes saying "Sorry, we could not detect any webcam in your computer". So what should be done .. please help
