How do I delete my "My Yahoo?

How do i delete Yahoo Messenger when it is not on my add/delete prorgammes?

I have Yahoo Messenger and have read that to delete it is to go to add/delete programmes, highlight Yahoo Messenger and delete. When i go to add/delete, Yahoo Messenger isnt there but it is on my computer as it keeps popping up....confused
Answer:

Manually delete your Yahoo Messenger -- Right click your Yahoo Messenger icon on your desktop.> Properties Click "Find Target"......it will go to where your Yahoo Messenger is placed. Click the "Up" button (folder with an arrow) twice to bring you to your Program Files. Right click the main Yahoo folder and select delete. Reboot your computer and check if Yahoo Messenger is still there.

restart your computer in safe mode and go to start then search. type in yahoo and delete everything relevant
