Well i would say you have offended some other Yahoo residents. Get a wiggle on and make amends.

ok, first calm down... you've probably been posting a lot of things that go against the guideline rules for this site. respond to the email as they indicate, follow the instructions they sent you. and then for the future my advice is for you to read the guidelines, READ THEM here: http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines.php and don't do any of this again if you don't want to have your account deactivated.

Its most likely just spam. If yahoo planned on deactivating your account, they wouldnt tell you - they would just do it. Put it in your junk mail.

It's spam and could contain a virus. Just delete it. Official yahoo mail will have the red 'yahoo!' logo. I got one of these a little while back and fell for it...was supposed to change my password. Boy did I feel dumb. Nothing came of it though, but when I kept getting the emails, I knew I was duped. When it comes to spam...if in doubt...just delete it...my husband accidently opened an email that he meant to delete and we got a trojan...totally jacked up our system. Wasn't one that said it was from yahoo...but you get the picture.

I think you are being targeted as part of a phishing scheme. When you look at the link (yahoo-abuse-center.4t.com), ask yourself: Why isn't this a Yahoo domain? Who is 4t.com? Do I actually chat with random people that would complain about me? Doing a Whois on 4t.com gets: Domain Name.......... 4t.com Creation Date........ 1998-10-09 Registration Date.... 2004-10-03 Expiry Date.......... 2006-10-08 Organization Name.... Web Services Organization Address. 1253 North Research Way Organization Address. Building Q #2500 Organization Address. Orem Organization Address. 84097 Organization Address. UT Organization Address. UNITED STATES Doing a Whois on yahoo.com gets: Domain Name: yahoo.com Registrant: Yahoo! Inc. (DOM-272993) 701 First Avenue Sunnyvale CA 94089 US I'm going to go with this is not Yahoo. Don't go to the link and don't give them any information about you. If you did go there and gave them your password (like you had to "log in"), change your password immediately! Ignore the message and report it as spam to Yahoo.

Yeah, what Patty said. Whatever you do, don't respond to it.
