How do I change the Yahoo typing message?

Yahoo messenger when the "someone is typing" message appears?

• When I have an open dialogue with someone and I see "Whats-his-name is typing", I know that it means they are typing a response to me. Sometimes that pops up 3-4 times and then their message comes up and it's like a one word response. The questions is... would the "what-his-name is typing" come up on my screen if the person has multiple chats going on? As in, they are typing to someone else, but is show in my chat box that they are typing. Is it also possible that maybe they are on a webpage and when they strike their keyboard it triggers the "typing" message to show on my chat box? Thanks in advance

• Answer:

  It will say "___ is typing" even if they just press the space bar and move to a different IM or window. As long as there are characters on the responce area, it will say that they are typing even if they are just staring at the screen.
