What is wrong with the yahoo classic mail address contact list book?

When I organize my Yahoo Messenger list, it comes back to its original form when i sign in the next time.Help?

  • Hi Recently I encountered a strange incident regharding Yahoo messenger.When i signed in to yahoo messenger, it was working perfectly fine but the next time i signed in, there was no contact in the address book and the contact details of my friends were no more there.I erased the whole list and again I imported contacts from the yahoo mail address book in the form of .csv via Microsft Outlook. Now I have my list with all the contact details(which I had typed the other day) but I am not being able to manage my messenger list.The contacts which I delete, come back again on the next sign in.The contacts which I move from one group to the other, dont move on the next sign in.I really need help badly.Please help me.     You can edit you Messenger list on this web page: http://messenger.yahoo.com/edit But really it sounds like you should re-install Yahoo! Messenger Click the Start menu, Control Panels and open Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to Yahoo! Messenger and remove it. Then install a fresh copy of the most recent version from http://messenger.yahoo.com

If you were using a different pc then it can sometimes do that because the contacts are stored on the pc that you used when you saved them

Scroll down that page and look aroung good. I bet that theres some kind of"Save changes' button that you are not clicking befoer you leave.
