Why isnt my yahoo messenger working?

yesterday my yahoo messenger was working fine nothing wrong i didnt mess with any settings today i go to log into it and it says unable to connect to internet my internet is working fine because im on this site writing this i tried to uninstall it i tried to restart my computer ive tried every thing i need my yahoo messenger because i have work contacts on there i talk to everyday can someone please help me

Uninstall it and then reinstall it. Sign in again and see if that works. If not, troubleshoot
