How do you remove Yahoo Messenger from Yahoo Mail?

  • I've got this problem with Yahoo Mail where every time I open Yahoo Mail this person is there, two tabs open and it's sort of blinking calling for my attention. I think it's a chat window or something, but there aren't any words, I can't make it go away, and it's blinking. This person's screen name even shows up in my browser tab (fire fox) at the very top. I know that Yahoo forces you to use chat even if you don't want it and even if strangers are bugging you, but what I want to do is get rid of that name. I don't know how else to describe it. It's a tab just like "inbox" but with a screen name on it. Some unknown person attempting to talk to me every time I use Yahoo Mail. Man this is awful!
