Why i can't find "chat room" in messenger menu?

  • İ have a yahoo messanger 8.1 and windows vista. but there is no chat room icon in messenger menu. what can i do?

    Hi, do not look for the chat icon, Yahoo removed it from the latest versions of Yahoo messenger. You need to click on "Messenger" in the menu. You will see the drop down menu and you'll find "Yahoo! Chat" and then "Join a Room". So the complete menu entry path is Messenger>Yahoo! Chat>Join a Room. There are other changes that have been made to Yahoo chat you may learn more about them by reading this http://freechatrooms.blogspot.com/2008/01/free-yahoo-chat-rooms.html Once again there is no chat icon anymore, Yahoo! removed it but the chat rooms are still available.
