How can I delete my friends on Yahoo messenger?

How do I erase my friends list on yahoo messenger? When I delete people and log off and back on they are back

  • When I erase my friends list by "Deleting" everybody and then log off and back on again, the names are all still there. I've even tried completely deleting yahoo messenger and they are back again when I re download it. How do I start over with an empty contacts list??? help!

    Well what I did and it worked was delet them and then save the changes you've made to your list

i would delete them , and then go under messenger, then options and place them on the ignore list

Have you tried right clicking on the person's name in your Messenger list.? Delete should be one of the choices in the column that comes up . The rest is history. Let me know if it work.(The rest, is history.(smile)
