How do I get all my contacts from Yahoo Messenger into my mobile messenger?

How do i get Yahoo messenger to show the names of all my contacts not their id's?

• my YM only shows the YM id and so sometimes i dont who they are because their YM id is different than their names like for example a friends name is Joy Martin and her YM id is chuva_dunno so that really get me guessing who this person is bcuz it only shows the id :)

• Answer:

  On your messenger friends list window click on Messenger in upper left corner then on Preferences then go to the Appearance section and down at the bottom check the Nickname or First and Last name. Once you do this you can also right click on their name and then on Contact Details and actually change their nickname or name to whatever you want to. If you don't want their real name to show leave it blank and just give them a nickname or vice versa hope this helps
