Why can't I send and receive files with Yahoo messenger?

I cant send or receive files in yahoo messenger chat it always failed , why??

when someone send me a file by chat i cant receive it i dont know why ,,, may i delete the yahoo programm ???thank you all

I have the same issues. Ever since I updated to version 8. Yahoo wants me to record a chat session with some other person and have them attempt to send files. Then send that recorded session to yahoo so they can "study" it and see what the problem might be.
