My instant messages are not not getting through, i am unable to receive or send instant message in chat room?

i sent so many message to different contacts in yahoo chat room but did not get any reply, than i had voice chat with one contact whom i sent messages but he replied that he did not receive any message

This seems to be a Yahoo! server problem. You'll find that if you add people to your contacts first, they will receive your instant messages. Using another internet connection (connecting through your mobile phone or connecting to another wireless network) can also solve the problem.
