Why does my launchcast never connect in messenger?

Problems with Launchcast radio in Yahoo Messenger?

I had Yahoo messenger and Launchcast up and running for months and months before I had to have my computer fixed. This meant i had to re-download messenger. Now there a number of little problems with it particularly that Launchcast radio does play but remains with "connecting" in the messenger window. This means I can't rate or skip etc. Also, persistently gives error codes- problems with script on page. Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a fire wall on. Within your firewall you will need ports 80 (HTTP) or 1755 (UDP, TCP) opened and free of filters. You will also need to allow calls to the '63.250.215.*' range of IP addresses, and the below URL domains: *.music.yahoo.com *.yahoo.com *.yimg.com *.akamai.net Certain firewalls, such as Norton Internet Security also contain ad removal features that may be enabled. You will need to disable or configure these to permit streams from LAUNCHcast.
