When can I use the chat feature within Yahoo games?

Help ~! I can not use the Yahoo Chat feature?

  • I was just using it, and tried to change a chat room. Nothing pops up now... why ?? I can still use Yahoo messenger. I re-started the computer, still the same problem. When I logged into a chat, I just went "join a Yahoo Chat Room" click there, and it will give me a web link to click to, type in a security code, and I am IN ~!! but now nothing pops up. Not even a link to type in these security code. What happened ?

    There's been some talk for a few months about Yahoo closing down its chat rooms and for the last month or so it seems like more and more people are unable to get into the rooms at all. Even though I have no problem getting into the chat rooms, I'm a Power User and have been using messenger for more than 6 years. I think it has to do with newer people being kept out of the chat rooms. Not to say that it's right or anything like that, just that it seems like that's what happening for whatever reason. ~m~
