How do I load my webcam on yahoo?

I am unable to install yahoo messenger for vista home basics with webcam support .?

i am using HP COMPAQ laptop with preloaded vista home basics , but i am unbale to load yahoo messenger with webcam support . Please suggest me what version of yahoo messenger i have to install to do video conversions . please..... please.... please.... tell me

Go here instead of trying to get it from the Yahoo messenger site >> http://www.freecreed.com/ymsgr-archive.html I do recommend you get the 8.1.0.421 version as it is the most stable a bug free version of messenger !! I have vista also and the 8.1 works great on my PC. Do NOT use any of the version 9 messengers they have to many problems with them ! When you download it just save it to your desktop and then run the installer from there. Since you are on Vista you will need to Right click on it(the installer you just downloaded) then click "Run as Administrator" to get it to install correctly.
