Why does MSN messenger keep shutting down?

Is it true that msn messenger is shutting down?

  • i keep getting these forwarded emails that msn messenger is shutting down because people keep creating multiple accounts for 1 person..i dont think it is true, is it? if it were true than i dont think the message would be passed on by a forwarded email.

    No, these emails are just chain emails which get made up by some stupid prankster and then sent round from person to person. Don't worry, MSN isn't shutting down, it is far too popular to do that! Hope this helps x

No its not true. I remember getting that e-mail about 3 years ago. And msn is working just like it always was- even better if anything. Its just some annoying, ridiculous chain e-mail.

it is just chain mail if it says something like "windows messenger is shutting down because we only have 346 msn addresses left to use because of people creating multiple addresses sorry" then don't listen to it its just chain mail. and it would be on the news if its true. i get email like this all the time and it doesnt hvae to be exactly like the above just anything similar ITS A LIE lol hope i helped ;)

Are there press releases? Anything on MSN telling you this? No. So it is only a rumor just like those idiots do on Myspace.
