Does the Blackberry 8820 have Blackberry messenger?

Yahoo Messenger 2.5.32/2.5.63 on Blackberry 9700?

  • Yahoo Messenger 2.5.32 on the Blackberry doesn't allow any messages to be sent from the device. The display pics don't show on there either. 1000's of user have had issues with this so Blackberry released 2.5.63 early on 3rd September 2009. In Application World it says it 2.3Mb yet it will only download 897kb before it starts installing. After a phone restart, version 2.5.63 still fails to send messages to users in the contact list If I was logged in on the computer then logged in on the phone the computer used to log out. With 2.5.32 & 2.5.63 it doesn't log the user out on the computer & it fails to send messages If you uninstall Yahoo Messenger through Application World, restart then goto http://blackberry.com/yahioo/messenger to load on 2.5.63, it does. Now go back into Application World, search for Yahoo Messenger & it asks you to re-install 2.5.63 when you've already installed it from that Blackberry link. Therefore, this must be a bug also You can send Blackberry an e-mail to [email protected] which gets an auto reply saying check out their support page (http://www.blackberry.com/appworld/support) Go to that site, type in Yahoo & click the silver button On the next page, click the link 'none of the items in the list is your problem' On the following page, click the same link (as above) On the final page, click 'click here to submit feedback', type in an e-mail address then report 2.5.63 isn't working in the single line text box & submit it. Maybe after 1000's of reports they may pull their finger out & actually do something about it. • Answer:

I have the same issue & have done the same as the original poster has done but cannot get it to work I have contacted T-mobile to see if the developers would release me Yahoo Messenger before 2.5.32 Another thing is Yahoo delete these questions after 4 days. If the original posted sees my post in time can he/she make the same post again to restart the 4 days? Looks like Application Tester has updated his post: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100906075653AAaVfn2
