Does the iTunes plugin change your status on Yahoo messenger?

How do I get my status message in Yahoo Messenger to display what I'm listening to in iTunes automatically?

  • I'm using Yahoo! Messenger with Voice (v. 7) and I use iTunes to listen to music. I'd like my status message in Y! Messenger to reflect what I'm listening to in iTunes...without having to always type it in. Messenger already does this with Launchcast and Yahoo Music Engine.

you cant. I tunes is an apple product, while lauchcast and yahoo music engine are programs built into the YM system. YM and itunes are two seperate programs. It wont work with WMP or real player either. Wont even work if you are playing mp3's directly from your pc
