Why does my Yahoo Messenger keep logging in and out?

I keep logging onto my Yahoo messenger but if i check my mail it logs me out, anyone know what to do?

Is there a feature I can turn off to stop having these problems? It always happens when Im checking my mail and Im also on my Yahoo Messenger. IDK what to do, help please?
Answer:

You are probably disconnecting from Yahoo Messenger because you are going to your mailbox and you are signing into Mail Chat automatically. Besides your username, you should see an option, "Available". Click on it and change your status to "Offline" by clicking on "Sign out of Chat". You will then be able to log back into IM and stay logged in. You cannot be signed into both IM and Mail Chat at the same time.
