How can I delete the once ignored contact?

I cannot delete yahoo messenger contact the "delete"?

• I connot delete my yahoo messenger contacts. the "delete" option is not even available in the contacts menu. This is really driving me crazy since I have so many rude contact who sign themselves up without my knowledge. I don't know why this messenger is so complicated. the delete/ignore button should be the first option. It really teases me when I know that I can pick a ringtone for a contact but I con't delete it!!!!! I mean come one this is an ABC of messengers

  try this. Rght click on their icon, scroll down to stealth settings and change them so that you appear permanently offline. Then click on messenger, top left on the messenger window , scroll down to preferences, click and scroll down to ignore list, click and in the next window add them to your ignore list and click o.k. Then go back right click on their icon and delete them.
