Is the Yahoo messenger server still down?

If MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger are combining, and this is the reason that the server is down... then why

Some people have said that the reason the server is down is because MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger are merging into one (sort of like Trillion). If this is true, then how come MSN messenger is still working just fine and dandy?

good question cause if they are then both sites would be down not just yahoo.anyway i hope they get it up and running soon.

My Yahoo Messenger doesn't work and neither does my Yahoo mail. I can sign in but it says page can not be displayed. Any one else have the problem getting into your mail?

I think its a rumor,just like gossip. Due to extreme heat Yahoo! Servers are expericencing technical difficulties. Therefore, Yahoo! Messenger users will not be able to use the messenger for a while. thats what i heard. AIM works just fine in the heat,but danty yahoo can't jesssh!
