Why does my new Dell computer w/Vista not support a required audio compression format for yahoo messenger chat

i recently bought a Dell PC w/vista program, after tearing down several firewalls i was finally able to download yahoo messenger, however when i try to go into a chat room or to pm friends i get a message that reads,, this computer does not support the required audio compression format,,, i am not all that good with computers so please,, what can i do to be able to chat with friends or get this to work,,,,,

Answer:
The problem is that vista doesnt have the required codec :( But it is an easy fix... With yahoo closed get this file and run it http://www.bytescribe.com/downloads/tsp_codec_install.exe it will install the codec.. once its done open up yahoo and you will be able to voice chat....Enjoy:)
