How do I go to a chat room on yahoo?

How to go to yahoo CHAT ROOM???????????

  • I HAVE GOT INSTALLED yahoo.messenger in my computer but i dont know how to use it i have never chated before on yahoo can any one help me plz.........................

    It's easy, first go to the "Chat" page in Yahoo! Find one that interests you. Click on "Join" I found this easier than opening up the chat program and doing a search from there. If you go to the chat page first and click join, it automatically starts the program anyway. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds for the chat to be routed so it is live on your computer. Once you have hit join, your screen name will appear as having entered the room, but you don't have to say anything. It is okay to lurk.

How to chat in Yahoo chatrooms If you have Yahoo Messenger installed on your computer, from the Messenger menu near the top, select Yahoo! Chat and Join a Room. Pick the Yahoo! ID you want to display in the chat room* and then select the room you want to join. Click ‘Regional’ to take you to different countries. Type in the characters in the box and then click submit. When you have copied the characters correctly, a new web browser opens to congratulate you. Close the web browser. It works just like an instant message - type your comments in and click send.

first u have to make your id in yahoo messenger, make it ok, click on yahoo messenger icon, wait put your id and correct passward,

It depends on what yahoo messenger version you are using,most versions have the chat icon showing, but in version 9.0 you will have to press on messenger then you will find yahoo chat-join a room then all you got to do is join
